Grain and Starch Industry

Enzyme Solutions for The Grain and Starch Industry

We import enzymes from Genencor International/IFF for the grain and starch industry, most of which are manufactured in Belgium. The enzymes we supply have been developed, among other things, to catalyze the conversion of starch into fermentable sugars. In alcohol distillation, enzymes reduce viscosity during evaporation, improve heat transfer and reduce equipment fouling. In starch production, enzymes work in the same way: our special enzymes improve viscosity and thus also the overall yield.

Non-GMO Enzymes

Our range also includes naturally produced enzymes that do not contain genetically modified ingredients. This makes them a safe and high-quality alternative to the requirements of the modern food industry. All enzymes we supply are Kosher-approved.

A Diverse Range of Enzymes for Different processes

Our range includes:

  • Alpha-amylase enzymes – for liquefaction, which break down long-chain starch into shorter dextrins
  • Glucoamylase enzymes – further break down dextrins into glucose, fermentable sugar
  • Protease enzymes – affect the dissolution of protein/proteins into amino acids, food for yeas
  • Cellulase enzymes – enhance starch separation, break down fibers, prevent gelatinization, improve viscosity and yield.

We also offer other enzymes for customized needs according to the starch source and process conditions used by the customer.
