A Family-Owned Company with Extensive Experience
Founded by Heikki Koski in 1978, HK-Import operates as a family business, headquartered in Mustasaari. The company has premises in Vaasa and a product warehouse and packing plant in Mustasaari and Pirkkala.
Our operations began with the import of home wine ingredients in the late 1970s. Soon the product range was supplemented with dry yeast suitable for home baking. The brokerage of auxiliary substances used in industrial processes began in the early 1990s, when HK-Import signed a Nordic-wide distribution agreement with a global enzyme manufacturer.
Strong Position in the Nordic Countries
Over the years, we have achieved a solid position in our field in the Nordic countries. As our newest area, we have launched the import and development of biogas enzymes for the Nordic market.
